Comedy in Canada – Oh Canada! What Now?
in Support of Reach for the Rainbow

Entertainers come together for an annual night celebrating our national pastime – Comedy!

TORONTO, September 26, 2016— Join partners in life and laughter Colin Mochrie (Whose Line is it Anyway?) & Debra McGrath (Little Mosque on the Prairie) and Naomi Snieckus (Mr. D) & Matt Baram (The Second City presents the Symphony) for Comedy in Canada!

Comedy in Canada is an annual event that benefits select charities making  an impact in their communities through inclusive change. For the second year, local children’s charity Reach for the Rainbow (Reach) is the chosen recipient of the event’s proceeds. The event is being emcee’d by Lorne Frohman (Distinguished Artists) and hosted by Vicenzia Sera and Pierre Savoy at their Toronto home with a limited number of guests in attendance. Event Co-Chairs are Catherine Davey and David Hopley.

“We’re very thankful that these wonderful performers are donating their time and talent in support of Reach” said Executive Director Dawn MacDonald. “We hope our guests enjoy themselves knowing that their support will help children with disabilities attend inclusive overnight, day and recreational community programs across Ontario.”.

And in the immortal words of Naomi Snieckus: “It’s a private performance with some of my favourite people – but know that #therewillbenodancingonlyjokes”.
