Executive Director Message
On behalf of the Board of Directors and all of our passionate staff, I would like to say thank you. Thank you for your continued support of our critical services across Ontario.
REACH provided inclusive recreation opportunities to over 550 children, youth, and emerging adults with disabilities across our province last year. Your commitment helped us ensure that any child, regardless of ability, can experience the thrill of attending overnight camp, day camp, municipal recreation activities, and/or organized sport and art opportunities that exist within their own neighbourhoods. Because our services receive no government funding we continue to rely solely upon the generous support of our donors to ensure that no child is sidelined because of their disability.
2017 saw a year of great change for Reach for the Rainbow as we moved our head office into the revitalized area of Regent Park and launched our rebrand as REACH. Our move to the downtown core allows us to be geographically closer to many of our amazing supporters, community partners, and families. We are excited to share our new modernized space and rebrand as we prepare to increase the scope of our reach to ensure that even more children and youth of all abilities have the opportunity to participate in recreation and sport programs within their own community.
Let’s ensure that we “reach for inclusion” this year!
